And when a client comes to me with someone else’s work, I never judge another artist. Every artist has their own technique, and every client’s skin and body will respond differently.

If a client comes to me three years later and there isn’t much pigment remaining, I don’t automatically assume it was the ink or the artist. Sometimes, it’s simply the body’s own mechanism for breaking down and fading pigment.

That said, in this particular case, the results may also have been influenced by the pigment used and/or the technique. The truth is, time tells us how permanent makeup will heal, age, and fade within each individual person’s skin.

I never guarantee that permanent makeup will last a specific amount of time. What I can offer is experience, education, and knowledge from staying on top of the evolution of this industry.

I believe my clients deserve honest expectations—not promises.
