✨Let’s talk Retinol✨

If you don’t have a retinol in your skincare routine, you probably should, and here’s why:

✔️ Acne or Acne Scarring
✔️ Fine Line and Wrinkles

It really is the most powerful form of skincare, which is also why it should only be a PART of your skincare routine, not the whole thing. Retinol is commonly used 1-3x a week (although some may be able to tolerate it daily). With retinol, you should be using a great cleanser and moisturizer— add a serum and eye cream for extra power.

So when it comes to retinol, what do you use? You’ve probably heard of Tretinoin and/or Tazarotene. How you decide between these? Well, check out this chart. Long story short— Tazarotene is better, but may be a little more irritating in the beginning until your skin adjusts, so some may prefer Tretinoin for a gentler retinol, although may still be irritating; just in a milder form.
