Jodi Clark Salon
A private, one-on-one salon experience focused on beautiful color, healthy hair, and results that truly work for you. Hello Loves!!!!
Changing your hair should NEVER be a scary experience! A great way to "try out" a different stylist is to book a shampoo & style! You'll meet the stylist, talk to them about your hair, what you love, don't love, etc., and begin building a trusted relationship – and there is NO commitment of a new cut or color until you’re ready! One of the most important--and often underrated--parts of your salon visit is the consultation you have with your stylist. Consultations are always FREE and I’m here to help in any way I can. I am an Aveda trained Hair Stylist at Accentrix Salon Davison and The Hair Gallery, Galax Va. I am also a licensed Instructor. While my expertise is in Color including dimensional coloring, all techniques of lightening and blonding in such a way that is the healthiest for the hair, and color correction, I also specialize in Precision Haircutting, Extensions, and Airbrush Make-up. I am passionate about the ability to make a difference in someone’s life by helping them feel good about themselves. I believe that my guests’ hair style should be just as unique as they are. I love a challenge and strongly believe in building a relationship with your clients. When someone knows your hair well, anything is possible. You can get "really good" anywhere, I strive to make it "perfect".

Can you believe no lightener was used here!? We did a full color, added a low light, and shifted the ton of her blonde.
So I have to ask!? What is your favorite part about your hair appointment? Is it that you get to relax, the shampoo and hot towels, piece and quiet with jazz music.lol. let me know!

Let’s talk "Going Natural", because this is a process, not always a one appointment fix.
The photo on the left was our starting point in. The photo on the right was 8 months later, with appointments about every 8 weeks.
Our goal was to slowly blend out the old color, get rid of that warmth and brassiness, and allow her natural gray to become part of the finished color, without sacrificing the health of her hair to get there.
Each appointment was another step in the transition. We used gray blending micro lights where we needed them, while leaving her natural new growth alone.
At this appointment, we didn’t highlight her at all. We simply worked on blending the remaining ends into the beautiful natural color she had grown in. 8 months. About every 8 weeks. Hair health still intact. And no harsh line of demarcation as she continues to grow.
Gray blending takes patience, but when it’s done slowly and intentionally, the growout can be pretty amazing.
Would you have the patience to do a 7-month gray transition?

Bringing the curls back to life not only with a cut but with a rich fall color also. When switching from blonde to a darker color, you have to put back the missing pigment or else it can look "muddy". Another bonus is the light reflects better on darker hair so it will be much shinier!
What fall color are you wanting to try?

Fall hair doesn’t have to mean going darker. Sometimes it’s just changing one little thing.
Instead of her usual lowlight, we added little pops of copper throughout her blonde. Nothing drastic, nothing that completely changes her, just enough warmth and dimension to make the whole color feel different for fall.
This is one of my favorite ways to change things up when you’re not ready for a big color change.
Would you try a little copper for fall, or are you hanging onto your blonde?
Its all coming together!

Shattered ends make this a blunt but soft bob. A.K.A "not your moms bob"
and let's not forget about the deep plum for a much needed change!

Every appointment begins with a thorough consultation, even if you are a returning guest. I always take the time to look at inspiration photos as well as photos of styles you do not like. This helps me understand your preferences from every angle. From there, we can talk through what will work best with your features, including your skin tone and eye color, and decide together on a look that will complement you. My goal is always to create a result that brings your vision to life and makes your hair dreams a reality.
Drop your favorite hair inspiration photos in the comments, I’d love to see what styles you’re loving right now!

Can we please stop being afraid of warmth? There’s a BIG difference between warm and brassy.
When adding warm caramel, cinnamon, and lighter chocolate tones to brunette hair that completely changes it without making it feel “highlighted.” That little bit of contrast is what gives the hair all that movement and dimension instead of leaving it looking like one solid color.
Okay, brunette girls, would you do this?
