Sun Rae’s Tanning & Boutique

🤎 IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE 🤎

We want to make our customers aware of an issue that has recently come to our attention. When searching for us on Google and clicking on our website, customers are being redirected to the wrong website.

The website is another tanning salon named Sun Rae’s, located in Illinois. We have no affiliation. Unfortunately, the search results are directing our customers to their website and asking for payment in order to book an appointment. We are truly sorry for the confusion and inconvenience this may have caused. We know your time and money is valuable, and we want to make sure you are booking with the correct business.

We are actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible! In the meantime, please keep the following information in mind.

☀️ UV TANNING: We accept walk-ins or you can call us at 970-596-5640.
Pre-existing customers, please make sure when booking an online appointment you click on the blue link in our about me/bio section on our page. At this time Sun Rae’s Tanning & Boutique does NOT have a website- just the booking app.

✨ SPRAY TANNING: The only way to book an appointment is to call the salon, call/text Meghan at 970-596-0464 or DM through Facebook/Instagram.

🤎 A FRIENDLY REMINDER: Payment is only due at the time of purchase. We do not require payment to book an appointment! We will never ask you for personal information or card details outside of signing you up for your package/membership. All of which is done in person at the salon.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and continued support of our small business. We appreciate each and every one of you and never want anyone to have a negative experience because of this mix-up. We will keep working to get this corrected as soon as possible!

If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

FAQ TIME 👩‍🏫‼️

More tanning doesn’t always mean a faster or better tan. 🙅‍♀️☀️

After a UV session, your skin’s response continues even after you leave the tanning bed. Melanin production and visible colour can continue developing for up to 48 hours. ⏰🤎

⚠️ Signs of overexposure can also take several hours to appear. Tanning again too soon could mean adding more UV before you fully know how your skin responded to the previous session.

That’s why 48 hours between sessions is often the sweet spot 👌 it gives your colour time to develop and allows you to see how your skin responded before your next exposure. ✨

Your tanning schedule should also consider:

✨ Your skin type
✨ The specific tanning equipment
✨ The recommended exposure schedule
✨ How your skin responded after your last session

Give your skin time, build your colour gradually and never tan skin that feels warm, tender, tight or looks pink. ☀️✨

Consistency beats overexposure every time. 🤎

Who else feels 100x better with a TAN? ☀️🙋‍♀️
