❓THE SITUATION
Four months in braids. And when it was time to take them out, the person who removed them was not gentle. Not careful. Not kind and didn’t detangle immediately after. Hair trauma set in fast — and yes, that is absolutely a real thing. 💔 To make it worse, mom didn’t get a chance to deshed her hair for weeks after the braids came out. So by the time she got to me, her hair had been through it. And so had she.

She came through that front door screaming. 😢 All the way from the entrance to my studio door. Full fear. Full tears. This princess wanted nothing to do with anyone touching her hair.

I slowed everything down. ✨ No rushing. No pressure. We moved at her pace, on her terms, until she felt safe. And once she did? We got to work. The 8 Hour Princess Smoothing Treatment — plant-based, vegan, and designed with our littlest clients in mind. 🌿
