A Quick Salon Update ❤️

I wanted to give everyone a quick update. After putting it off for far too long, I am finally having much-needed carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand on August 31.

I will be out of the salon from August 31 through September 9 for the first stage of my recovery. Beginning September 10, I’ll gradually return to work part-time, depending on what my hand can comfortably handle.

During my recovery, I won’t be able to blow-dry hair just yet. However, I will still be able to shampoo, color, highlight, and cut hair. It’s simply the repetitive motion of blow-drying that I’ll need to ease back into. My surgeon expects a full recovery to take about 4 to 6 weeks.

And don’t worry—you won’t be leaving the salon with wet hair! 😊 If you’d like, you’re more than welcome to use my blow dryer, curling iron, or flat iron to style your own hair while I’m recovering.

I’ll be honest—I’m feeling both excited and a little nervous about this surgery. More than anything, I’m grateful that this procedure will help me continue doing what I love for years to come.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and support. My clients truly become family, and I appreciate every one of you. Your kindness during this journey means more to me than you know, and I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love—with a healthier hand!

I absolutely can not wait to marry my soulmate Chris DeLira in only 15 short days we will say I Do!! We are having a small private ceremony with lots of pics to follow ! Sorry we cannot invite everyone but we are trying to keep it intimate.
