This one means more than I can put into words. 💜

This October, I have the honor of being the Keynote Speaker at the 24th Annual Soup Bowl Event for Domestic Violence Awareness.

This Christmas will mark 12 years since I completely walked away from my abuser. There was a time in my life when I could have never imagined the woman I would become, let alone imagine standing in front of a room sharing my story.

My story isn’t easy to tell. There are parts I’ve buried, parts I don’t always remember clearly, and parts that still bring tears to my eyes. But I know there is purpose in sharing it.

Last year, sharing just a small portion of my story helped at least one woman find the courage to leave her abusive situation. If telling my story can reach even one more person, it’s worth telling.

I’ll be sharing about survival, faith, the importance of having a support system, rebuilding, and finding purpose on the other side. 🙏🏽💜

There is life after abuse. There is hope. And your story does not have to end there.
