If you've spent time in Downtown Frederick, you've probably seen the Ambassador team: bright green shirts, big smiles, and a lot of hard work.

Our Downtown Frederick Partnership Ambassadors keep downtown clean, safe, welcoming, and beautiful.

Our 4 full-time Ambassadors cover more than 17 blocks, from Market Street and Patrick Street to Carroll Creek Linear Park and Everedy Square & Shab Row. They greet visitors, give directions, pick up trash and cigarette butts, power wash sidewalks, remove graffiti and stickers, and clear leaves and debris from sidewalks and gutters.

Fall Fest to bring events to East Street businesses in Frederick The Downtown Frederick Partnership will host its third annual Fall Fest event in Frederick's Shab Row and Everedy Square, helping to draw attention to businesses on the city's east side.

45 Years of Bushwaller's 🍻

Since 1981, Bushwaller's has been a staple of Downtown Frederick, serving up some of the very best eats and the best Guinness pours around. From casual lunches to late nights with friends to St. Patrick's day celebrations, this has been the place to gather for 45 years and counting.

Calling all artists and makers!

The Frederick Arts Council and the YMCA Ausherman Arts Center are seeking vendors for the Winter Artist Market, happening November 27-28 at 115 E. Church St. in Downtown Frederick. It's a great chance to showcase and sell your handmade work to the community during the holiday season.

Artists of all disciplines are encouraged to apply. Applications are due October 28.

Kara and Leeann recently headed to Toronto for the IDA Conference! They heard how cities around the world are tackling their biggest challenges and picked up ideas from NYC, Chicago, and Calgary. Sessions covered everything from commercial real estate and membership programs to placemaking and the late-night economy. Kara's biggest takeaways came from sessions on implementing a streetscape project while supporting businesses and the top 10 global downtown trends. It's always energizing to be in a room full of people who do this work and are eager to move it forward.
