The power of a toner 🙏🏼✨✨
On the left is the hair freshly lightened, no toner and wet. On the right, it’s freshly toned, blown out and flat ironed. Noticeable difference right? This is why you shouldn’t ask your stylist how you’re haircolor looks when it’s wet and at the shampoo bowl. My answer will always be “.... wet” 😂😂🤷🏻‍♀️🤭. It’s too hard to determine that. Please note, a “toner” also known as a gloss is used to correct unwanted tones in the hair. It will NOT lighten your hair, also if you’ve had lightening done and it’s been more than 8 weeks. Your gloss has faded out and you need to get it glossed again.

Formula 👩🏻‍🔬🧪💜🔮
Here’s the formula I promised you guys. I created this deep purple wine color for my gorgeous client. She wanted her color to be more on the purple side, because as we all know (or maybe not) red hair fades quickly, so adding purple gives us depth AND longevity to her color.
I used to create this look👩🏻‍🔬🧪✨. Products used were:

• “its a blonde thing” lightener,
•“Blonde shell” purple shampoo
• “Graffiti Glam” for her glaze/ vivid tone.

It’s National Cabernet Sauvignon Day or as I like to call it Bachelor Monday. 🌹🍷🤣 don’t judge, you watch it too. So naturally I created Cabernet Inspired hair.

I wanted to emulate the purple and red tones in red wine, so for the sake of the longevity of her hair color I added a bit more purple into my formula. Red and purple tones fade quickly, by adding a bit more purple it gives more depth and vibrancy to support the red tones. Now her color will be perfect and last slightly longer, and I get to enjoy this glass of wine and watch the most dramatic episode yet.
