I bet you didnāt know you can retwist your micro-Locs.
Some scalps/hair textures donāt tolerate re-ties. And thatās ok.
The thing I want to educate on you on is the fact that locs are locsā¦ micro, big, small, smediumā¦ you can retie or retwist no matter what size they are. š«¶š¾
Wellā¦ if they big you may not wanna retie cause that would hurt lol.

Sometimes Locs Have to Be Cut š¤·š¾āāļø
This beautiful Client came to me with the hopes of saving her locs.. and I have to admitā¦ I triedā¦
At the 2nd appointment she brought a few locs for re-attachment.. and as I was trying to fray the ends the hair was falling out of the loc, leaving nothing to attach.
After consideration an important decision was made.
This cut was spiritual.. we lit some sage.. opened the windows of my homeā¦ we talkedā¦ she released everything that those locs held and ment to her for a fresh start.
These pictures are the results. š„°š„° her roots are gorgeousā¦ and healthy.
Sometimes we have to shed the weight of what no longer serves us to start something new.
For now.. my girl is enjoying the freedom her scalp deservesā¦ maybe she gets another set of locs.. maybe she wonāt.. my point isā¦ African American Hair is beautiful no matter what you do with it. šÆšāš¾āš¾
