What a transformation! ✨

First of all, I want to thank my client for trusting me with this project. This was truly a team effort, from the planning and preparation to patiently waiting for everything to come together.

And I can definitely say… the wait was worth it. 🙌🏼

This past Saturday, we finally completed the installation, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. We created a natural, seamless look with movement, dimension, and a beautiful gray blend that works perfectly with his own hair.

First appointment, already a beautiful relationship with her curls. 🤎➰

One of my favorite parts of working with a new guest is taking the time to understand not only their hair, but also what they already know about it.

She came in already very knowledgeable about her curls—how they behave, what they need, and what works for her. My job wasn’t to reinvent her routine, but to listen, work with her natural texture, refine the shape, and share just a few professional tips to help her get even more from her curls at home.

The result: a shape that gives her curls room to move, beautiful definition, and volume while still feeling completely like her. ✨

This was her first visit with me, so we started with one of the most important parts of any service: a thorough consultation. Understanding her hair history, current condition, and desired result allowed me to create a plan specifically for her hair.

We achieved the rich mahogany brown she was looking for, followed by a fresh haircut to bring back shape, movement, and healthy-looking ends. 🤎✂️

We also finished with a keratin treatment to help smooth the hair, reduce frizz, improve manageability, and enhance softness and shine giving the color and fresh cut an even more polished finish.

With a first-time client, getting to know the hair is just as important as choosing the color. How it responds, what it needs, and its previous history all help me make better decisions while protecting the integrity of the hair.

He patiently grew his hair for almost two years with a very special purpose: to donate it and help a child experiencing medical hair loss.

We finally did the big chop. ✨

His hair will be donated to Children With Hair Loss — Children With Hair Loss, an organization that provides human hair replacements at no cost to children and young adults experiencing medically related hair loss.

It was such an honor to be a small part of something with such a meaningful purpose. 🫶🏼

A fresh new look for him, and hopefully a little more confidence and happiness for someone else. 🤍
