Being low maintenance doesn’t always mean your hair is automatically healthy. I’ve seen some really brittle hair from constant bad shampoo & conditioner use and air drying with no leave in product

Static means there’s a lack of moisture. Even if your hair is super soft, a good hair masque, leave in conditioner, and hair oil can work wonders

What happens internally affects you on the outside, including your hair. Illness, medication, hormone changes, poor diet, no sleep, etc. all affects your hair health.

Stylists are here to help you with recommendations for your regimen at home! In salon appointments can only do so much of the work and the rest is on you to maintain your hair health day to day ❤️

3 things to do the day BEFORE your wedding instead of the day of

•Steaming dresses- if possible, have a steaming party the day/night before! Steam + hair & makeup is not a good mix

•Sentimental gifts to the bride while she’s getting ready- tears + makeup is also not an ideal combo, she’s already going to cry during the ceremony so let’s keep the makeup intact before then

•Washing your hair- your hair most likely won’t be fully dry in time unless you’re really good with a round brush & blowdryer. Do it the night before!

2 different trials, 2 different styles, same bride!

First style we tried was the low bun, her dress had a high neck so we knew the hair needed to be up.
Second trial she wanted to try an even higher style to see if she preferred one over the other

The high updo was the winner and we did the same thing for wedding day!
Don’t be afraid to do multiple trials so you can make the best choice for your big day 🤍

The moment I started asking myself this question with every bridal style I’m shown, my confidence increased ⬇️

“If I wanted this hairstyle, how would I want it properly done?” In other words: Treat them how you want to be treated.

This makes me put myself in your shoes, take your vision and think “with everything I know about styling, how I would I want this done correctly, securely, aesthetically.”

Before having that mindset I would get lost in the process and feel overwhelmed.

Something about pretending “what if this was my own hair?” made me a better problem solver, more detail oriented, and more confident that everything would turn out great.
