🥘 Runza Casserole

All the cozy flavors of a classic Runza baked into one easy casserole. Savory beef, tender cabbage, melted cheese, and buttery crescent rolls make this a comforting family dinner.

Ingredients:
2 packages crescent rolls
2 lbs ground beef
2 Tbsp butter
4 cups green cabbage, chopped
1 yellow onion, chopped
1¼ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Press one package of crescent rolls into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

Brown the ground beef in a large skillet and drain excess grease. Add butter, onion, and cabbage. Cook until the vegetables are tender, then season with salt and pepper.

Spread the beef and cabbage mixture over the crescent-roll crust. Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella, then cover with the second package of crescent rolls.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the top is puffed and golden brown. Let rest a few minutes before slicing.
