A clean scalp is the foundation of healthy locs. 🫧
Loc baths are one of the best ways to assess buildup, determine whether a detox is needed, and make sure the hair is as clean as possible before moving on to the next steps.

😂 Y’all… I was low-key stalking this man through the gym because I could NOT stop looking at his hair.
The first thing I saw was that fro, and all I could think was… Bebe from The Proud Family. 😭🌳
It made me smile because that’s really how our hair grows, full, high, unapologetic, and beautiful. Seeing cartoons celebrate textured hair like that always hits a little different.
He told me he actually used to have locs and just combed them out for a change. Now he’s thinking about locking back up again…
So I need y’all’s opinion.
👇 Should he start his loc journey again, or should he keep rocking the fro?
Honestly… I don’t think there’s a wrong answer. Both look amazing. 🔥
Every journey doesn’t end the way we imagined.
A few years ago, we started her locs from a tiny fro after years of believing her hair just wouldn’t grow. Together, we proved it could.
Recently, we had to make the difficult decision to let her locs go. It wasn’t because of failure, it was because her hair needed a fresh start. Low porosity can be a pain but, sometimes the healthiest choice is removing what’s weighing you down so new growth has the chance it deserves.
Hair has seasons, just like life. I’m grateful I got to walk this chapter with her, and I can’t wait to see where her next one leads. 🤎
Sometimes knowing when to wait is better than rushing the process.
When she came to me, she had just taken out her braids and she was missing at least 2-3 rows of her back.
Four months later, she’s missing all of her edges but her back had grown in.
My goal isn’t to take your money and give you the look you want for just today.
My job is to make sure your locs can support the years to come.
The right plan changes everything🫶🏾
That feeling when you did your big one 😮💨🔥
