When an illness isn’t visible, others may struggle to grasp its impact. “If you look normal, you can’t really be that sick,” they say. Nothing could be further from the truth, these are two serious, lifelong conditions causing intense pain, extreme fatigue, arthritis, brain fog, urgent toilet needs, and extraintestinal issues that interfere with work, relationships, and daily life, often carrying life-threatening risks.
