Your hormones are always responding. The question is, to what?
Stress, sleep, movement, environment.
Your endocrine system is constantly taking in signals and adjusting.
Infrared heat is one of those signals.
Swipe through to see how!
From endorphins rising to cortisol softening, metabolic support, and cellular repair... sauna creates a gentle form of stress that your body knows how to respond to.
And that response? It's adaptive.
Over time, your body gets better at regulating stress, balancing energy, and recovering more efficiently.
It's not about forcing balance.
It's about creating the conditions that allow your body to find it.
Small inputs. Consistent practice. Real shifts.
That's where the change happens🔥

There's a reason a sauna session can feel like such a satisfying way to close out the day.
As your body responds to heat, circulation increases, muscles begin to relax, and the shift into recovery afterward may help create conditions that support rest.
That post-sauna cool-down is especially interesting. A gradual drop in core body temperature is part of the body's natural preparation for sleep, which is one reason heat exposure before bed has been studied as a potential tool for improving sleep quality.
And there's a behavioral benefit, too: making sauna part of your evening routine can create a clear transition from the stimulation of the day into something slower and quieter.
Less doing. More unwinding. A little heat, a little recovery, and hopefully a very good night's sleep.

🧠 Alzheimer's disease is a
progressive condition that affects the brain's cognitive function. Over time, it impacts memory, thinking, and the ability to carry out everyday tasks.
Chronic inflammation is believed to be one of the key contributors to its progression. Infrared sauna therapy can help promote better circulation, lower inflammation and increase brain
supporting proteins such as BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor).
Living with a degenerative condition, especially one that affects memory and social connection (or supporting someone who is) can also bring significant emotional stress »
Infrared sauna sessions provide gentle, calming heat that helps the body relax, unwind, and return to a more balanced state.
If you or a loved one is navigating Alzheimer's, sauna therapy may offer a moment of comfort, calm, and supportive care along the way

Most people think of sauna as something that helps your muscles recover.
What often gets overlooked is what happens in your brain.
Within minutes of stepping into the sauna, your body begins adapting to heat. Blood flow increases, your heart rate rises, and your nervous system shifts into a different state. As your session continues, your brain responds by releasing mood-supporting neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin, and endorphins, while activating protective cellular pathways that help build resilience over time.
One of the most exciting areas of research is sauna's relationship with brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), often called
"fertilizer for the brain." BDNF plays an important role in supporting neuroplasticity, learning, memory, and the growth of new neurons. Regular heat exposure may also stimulate heat shock proteins, which help protect cells from stress and support healthy aging.
This doesn't mean every benefit appears the moment you step into a sauna. Many of these adaptations develop through repeated exposure over weeks and months. Like exercise, consistency matters far more than pushing yourself through excessively long sessions.
For most people, a comfortable 15 to 20 minute session performed several times each week is enough to begin supporting these long-term adaptations.
The result isn't simply feeling relaxed when you step out.
It's training your body and brain to become more resilient to stress over time.
