Collagen is one of those things we don’t really think about until we start noticing the changes.

As collagen production naturally slows with age, we may begin to see changes in firmness, texture, elasticity and the overall quality of our skin.

The good news? There are several ways we can support the skin and encourage collagen production. Your skin loves a hot shower a little less than you do. 😉

As the temperatures start to drop, it’s tempting to turn that water temperature up but too much hot water can leave your skin feeling dry, tight and irritated by stripping away some of its natural oils.

A simple fall skin switch: keep the water lukewarm, moisturize while your skin is still slightly damp, and give your skin a little extra hydration as the weather changes.
