💙 Happy Chiropractic Appreciation Day! 💙
131 years ago, chiropractic was born from a simple idea: that the body has an incredible ability to heal, adapt, and function at its best when given the right support. ✨
Since then, chiropractic has become a profession built around helping people move better, feel better, and get back to doing the things they love.
At Best Life Chiropractic, we’re incredibly grateful to be part of that story. 🫶🏼 We’re grateful for every patient who has trusted us with their care, every family who has walked through our doors, and every person who has allowed us to be a part of their journey toward better health and better quality of life.
131 years of Chiropractic. Countless lives touched. And we’re honored to continue the journey. 💚
Here’s to the profession we love, the community we’re blessed to serve, and helping more people live their Best Life for years to come! 🌿
Pregnant and looking for a chiropractor? Look for one word: WEBSTER. 🤰✨
Webster certification means additional training focused on caring for women during pregnancy, with special attention to the pelvis and the changes your body experiences as baby grows.
It’s a credential worth knowing about when choosing prenatal chiropractic care. 💛
🧠✨ What does nervous system regulation actually mean?
It’s not about never feeling stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed. It’s about helping your body move through stress and return to a place where you feel safe, settled, and able to respond instead of constantly reacting.
In our office, we support this by creating a welcoming environment, helping your body slow down, and looking at the whole person—including sleep, stress, breathing, movement, digestion, and daily life. 🤍
Your body is constantly communicating with you. The goal isn’t to force relaxation—it’s to build greater capacity to adapt, recover, and function at your best. 🌿
✨ Your nervous system deserves support, too.

🍂 Fall is coming, and so are the conversations about “boosting” your immune system! 🛡️✨
But immune health isn’t simply about making your defenses stronger—it’s about helping your body respond, adapt, and recover effectively.
Your immune system works around the clock, communicating with your nervous system and responding to factors like sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, and recovery. ❤️
That’s why supporting your health before the sniffles start can make a difference. This season, focus on the foundations of wellness and give your body the support it needs to stay resilient. 🍂✨
🌈It’s not all sunshine & rainbows
Sometimes it’s:
😵💫A stressed out nervous system
😫Tight muscles
🤕Cranky neck
🫠Achy back
😴Running on empty
Your nervous system is working 24/7 - so why not give it the support jt deserves?🧠✨
Come see us at Best Life Chiropractic and Wellness Center and let’s get you feeling like YOU again. 💚
✨Move better. Feel better. Live your Best Life.
💻 Sitting at your desk all day? Your body may be feeling it—even before the pain shows up.
Tight shoulders, afternoon headaches, or that stiff back when you finally stand up? Your posture and lack of movement could be contributing.
Try these simple desk resets:
✨ Stand up and take a few deep breaths every hour
✨ Add a doorway stretch
✨ Use a small footstool to support better positioning
Small changes can make a big difference—but sometimes your body needs more than a quick stretch. It may be time for a reset. 🙌

Your jaw may feel like a small, isolated part of your body, but every time you talk, chew, yawn, or clench your teeth, there’s a lot more involved than the jaw itself.
The temporomandibular joints (TMJs) sit just in front of your ears and connect your lower jaw to your skull. For these joints to move well, they rely on coordinated activity between the muscles of the jaw, face, head, and neck. 🧠✨
That connection becomes especially noticeable when tension enters the picture.
Clenching or grinding your teeth can increase the workload on the muscles surrounding the jaw, but that tension doesn’t necessarily stay there. The muscles and joints of the upper neck are closely involved in head position and movement, which is why jaw tension may sometimes show up alongside:
→ Tightness through the neck and shoulders
→ Headaches or pressure around the temples
→ Clicking or popping in the jaw
→ Discomfort while chewing or opening your mouth
→ Jaw tightness first thing in the morning
Stress can add another layer. When your nervous system is spending more time in a heightened state, you may find yourself tightening your jaw or clenching your teeth without even realizing you’re doing it.
This is why, when someone comes into our office with jaw tension, we don’t necessarily look at the jaw alone. We also consider how the upper neck is moving, where tension is being held, and how the nervous system is responding.
Chiropractic care can help support healthy movement through the cervical spine and nervous system function, helping the different areas involved work together more efficiently.
Your jaw, neck, and nervous system are much more connected than you might realize - and sometimes understanding those connections can help explain why the tension keeps showing up.

If you’re a parent who has dealt with recurring ear infections, you probably know the routine all too well. 👂🏼
Your little one is uncomfortable, sleep gets disrupted, you make another trip to the pediatrician, and just when it seems like you’re finally past it…you’re dealing with another one.
When ear infections continue to recur, it’s understandable to start wondering why your child seems to be getting stuck in the same cycle.
One important piece is how a child’s ears are designed. Their Eustachian tubes, which help move fluid from the middle ear toward the back of the throat, are shorter and positioned more horizontally than an adult’s. This can make it easier for fluid to collect and harder for it to drain efficiently.
As children grow, those tubes gradually become longer and more angled, which is one reason ear infections tend to become less common with age.
But while they’re little, there are several things that can influence how well that area is functioning. Congestion, inflammation, muscle tension, and mobility through the upper neck can all be important pieces to consider.
This is where pediatric chiropractic care can offer another perspective. We evaluate the upper cervical spine and surrounding structures for areas of tension or restricted movement that may be adding stress to the system. Gentle, age-appropriate adjustments help support healthy movement and nervous system function while your child’s body does what it was designed to do.
For families who feel like they’re going through the same cycle over and over again, sometimes it helps to look beyond the ear itself and consider what may be influencing how that whole area is functioning. 🤍
