I started doing hair in 2009 as a baby stylist who just wanted to be good at what I did i was at Mastercuts. Looking back now, I can clearly see how God placed people in my life at exactly the right times mentors, coworkers, clients, and even situations that felt hard or confusing in the moment. Even as a business owner, I’ve learned that God still puts people in my path to teach me. There have been many employees over the years who played a special role in shaping who I am today and how I run my business. Some stayed for seasons, some for lessons, and some for both. At the time, I didn’t always understand what God was doing, but I can see now that every person helped grow my leadership, my patience, my boundaries, and my heart. Back in the early days, building a clientele was simple. You showed up, you worked hard, you rebooked, and word of mouth carried you. Social media wasn’t part of the job yet and the systems were loose, but God was still building a foundation in me through the people around me.

When I opened the salon in 2017, I quickly realized that talent alone doesn’t build something lasting. It takes structure, trust, leadership, and faith especially when you’re making hard decisions or learning things the long way. I’ve made mistakes, changed direction, rebuilt systems, and leaned on God more times than I can count. Now, the industry is about clarity, experience, and sustainability. Less hustle, more intention. And I truly believe God is leading me to build something healthier not just a business, but a place where people can grow, feel supported, and thrive. I’m grateful for where I started, for every person placed in my path whether they’re still here or not and for the lessons I didn’t understand until later. There’s purpose in all of it.

A question I hear often: Why did I choose copper bowls over “traditional”

Revive Copper Bowls for Our Pedicure Room
•We don’t use traditional piped pedicure chairs cleanliness comes first
•Copper is naturally antimicrobial, supporting a more hygienic soak
•No hidden jets or plumbing = easier sanitation between every guest
•Copper retains warmth longer, creating a more relaxing soak
•Allows for more comfortable seating and better posture
•Creates a quieter, spa-like environment with no motors or noise
•Elevates your service from a standard pedicure to a true spa ritual

✨ Ashley’s Famous Sausage Gravy ✨

Some recipes aren’t followed they’re felt.
This rich, creamy sausage gravy came together the way the best things do: instinctively. Built with savory sausage, real butter, cream, and just the right balance of seasoning, it’s comforting, indulgent, and made to be shared.

Thick, silky, and full of flavor, this is the kind of recipe that turns a simple breakfast into a moment perfect over warm biscuits.

Sometimes the best recipes become famous because they’re made with intention, not perfection
