A little piece of my dance life is here, but just for the summer! ✨

Before Flow Motion, I owned Gulf Coast Belly Dance in Mississippi. Students drove in weekly from Alabama and Louisiana, I hosted workshops with world-famous dancers, sold out restaurant shows, and built the kind of belly dance community that still lives on in my heart. Even though I haven’t taught belly dance in a while, I’ve never stopped dancing (or teaching). I dance almost every day. It’s just part of me and how I move.

This summer, I’m teaching Discover Belly Dance at Flow Motion, a beginner-friendly instructional series for those who want to learn the foundations, not just follow along and hope for the best.

This is not a “follow-the-bouncing-butt” class. 😂
I’ll be teaching technique, posture, isolations, movement quality, and giving real guidance so you can feel confident in your body instead of lost in the back of the room.

The classes are broken into three separate 4-week series in July, August, and September. You can take one month, start with any month, or take all three months for the full 12-week foundation. July is Fluid Foundations, August is Playful Hips & Shimmies, and September is Rhythmic Steps & Mini Combinations. Classes are Mondays at 5:30pm in my beautiful Radiance Room!

This is probably the only time I’ll be teaching it this year, because I go back to teaching aerial yoga in the fall. As the business owner, I can usually only teach one class a week, so this is it!

There are only a few spots left and I’m keeping the class small on purpose so I can teach and help each person.
