A little behind the scenes of us cutting our handmade soaps!

Each batch is made in small batches and hand cut before the bars are left to cure. Definitely one of the most satisfying parts of the process.

A little look at what goes on behind the scenes at Rose Best! It’s always so fun seeing it go from freshly poured soap to the finished bars.
Which part is more satisfying, the pour or the final reveal? 👀

Nine ingredients. That is the entire bar.

Coconut oil, olive oil, rice bran oil, shea butter, sunflower oil, cocoa butter, castor oil, lemongrass oil, orange oil.

No preservatives, because cold processed soap does not need them.
No palm oil. No dye. The color in this bar is turmeric.

Here is why I print the whole list. Ingredients are ordered by quantity, most to least. So when a company sells you on shea butter and shea butter shows up last there is barely any in there.
In this bar it is fourth, and it is doing real work.

I write out every ingredient with nothing held back. Not because I am required to. Because I want you to be able to check my work.
