✨ Cooper Dawson ✨

Cooper has been part of The Boulevard family for almost 2 years, but his connection to The Boulevard goes back even further. He’s grown up around the salon with his mom, Amy, one of our owners and talented hairstylists, and it has been so special watching him grow up alongside our Boulevard family. 💗

What does he love most about working the front desk? Working with the people at the front desk… and eating food! 😂🍕

His favorite part about helping our clients is seeing them happy and having smiles on their faces! 😊 To make a client’s day better, Cooper asks them if they’re doing okay. 🥰

His most memorable moments at the front desk are probably his shenanigans with Landyn! 😂 And his favorite thing about our clients? Some of them make him smile when he sees them! 💕

If Cooper could pick any drink, it would be a Cherry Coke! 🥤

To him, great customer service means making everyone happy! 😊

There’s something extra special about having Cooper here. 💕 He’s not just someone who works at The Boulevard—he’s been part of our extended Boulevard family for years, growing up around the people, laughter, friendships, and memories that make this place so special. Now we get to watch him create some of those memories of his own!

Riley may have only been part of the Boulevard family for a month, but she’s already making herself right at home! 💗

What she loves most about the front desk is getting to work with such a great team and meeting friendly new customers every day. She especially loves making clients feel comfortable, having genuine conversations, and getting to know them. 🥰

Her favorite thing about our Boulevard clients? They feel like family! She says walking through the doors feels less like coming to work and more like catching up with a friend. 💕

✨ One thing Riley does to brighten a client’s day? She takes the time to ask about their day and have a genuine conversation with them—making sure they feel seen, heard, and understood.

😂 Most memorable moment so far?
When Maria popped a squishy dumpling on herself! 😂 (We may need the full story on that one…)

When someone came into the salon asking to cut MY hair! 😂 That was a weird day….

Landyn has been part of The Boulevard for almost 4 years, and we’re so lucky to have her at our front desk! 💗

She loves spending her days with her tanning clients and coworkers, but her favorite part of the job is building relationships with our clients and making everyone feel like family. 🥰

Her secret to making a client’s day better?
✨ “Tell them bed 8 is open!” 🤣

One of her funniest Boulevard memories? When Christal hid under the desk to scare her! 😂 We’re guessing Landyn hasn’t trusted the front desk quite the same since! 👀

Her go-to busy-day drink is a Banana Bread Blondie from 7 Brew ☕️🍌🤎

✨ Meet Maria Young! ✨

Maria has been a part of The Boulevard family for 23 years! 💕 When asked what she loves most about working the front desk, her answer was simple: the customers! She loves getting to talk with them and, most importantly, watching our clients become like family. 🥰

One of her favorite ways to make someone’s day better? Greeting them as soon as they walk through the door! Because sometimes, a warm welcome is all it takes. ✨

And one of Maria’s most memorable moments came from one of our lovely (and wise!) tanners, Dee. Maria once said she wished she was rich, and Dee reminded her that she already was—because she has her kids and a beautiful family. ❤️ Maria says she’ll never forget that moment. 🥹

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. 💙💛

We celebrate this month for all people who have Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21).

How does this occur in babies?
The chromosome #21 has 3 copies instead of 2 copies.

There are 3 types of Trisomy 21. Trisomy 21 where all the cells have extra 21 chromosomes. Mosaic Down Syndrome where some cells have extra chromosome 21. Translocation Down Syndrome attach to other chromosomes typically 14, 13, 15, & 22.

With the extra copy of chromosome 21, comes with extra love💜, extra hugs🤗, extra high fives✋🏼, extra stubbornness🤔, well, just a whole lot of extras😃!!!
