Why am I creating BTB Academy?
Because I know what it feels like to learn something in school, then have questions when it’s time to apply it with a real client.
Working in the treatment room and teaching esthetics, I get to see both sides. The excitement, the uncertainty, and those moments when you just need someone to explain it a different way.
I’m creating BTB Academy to offer meaningful support you can return to, at your own pace, wherever you are in your career.
I’m still building and keeping some details close, but the reason behind it is personal. I want to share what I’ve learned and make room for the questions you’re still carrying.

Hello hello! If you're new here, I’m Jarissa B, the owner of Be Tru Beauty Spa in Fairfield, CT. 🤍
I became an esthetician in 2023 because I know what it’s like to struggle with your skin. I dealt with hyperpigmentation and sensitive skin for years, and that experience is what led me to open Be Tru Beauty in 2024.
My goal has always been simple: create a space where you can relax, feel comfortable, and leave feeling more confident than when you walked in.
