☀️🌊 VACATION HAIR TIP: Protect Before You Dip! 💦🏖️
Heading to the pool or the beach? Before you jump in, give your hair a little protection first!
Salt water and chlorine can pull moisture from the hair, leaving it feeling dry, tangled and frizzy—and they can be especially tough on curly and color-treated hair.
💧 Before swimming:
• Wet your hair thoroughly with fresh water. Hair that’s already saturated absorbs less pool or salt water.
• Apply a little leave-in conditioner for an extra moisture barrier.
• Braid or secure longer hair to help reduce tangling.
🚿 After swimming:
Rinse your hair with fresh water as soon as you can to remove salt or chlorine. Follow with a gentle cleanse and plenty of conditioner to restore moisture.
These tips are great for all hair types, but curls especially love that extra moisture and protection. 🌀
