One of the things I’ve been working on behind the scenes this year is becoming more client-oriented and focused on the overall experience… What makes your life easier, and what makes my services more accommodating and accessible?

I realize that your time is valuable, and I also have the skills to create an experience that combines convenience + luxury in one appointment. So, facial waxing is officially back on the menu. 🤍

I took a little over a year away from facial waxing while I focused on other areas of my business, but after revamping and refining so much behind the scenes since April, I realized this was one service I genuinely missed being able to offer.

Sometimes you don’t need a whole separate appointment… you just need 15 extra minutes and a little cleanup to get you by and that’s where I come in.

I’ve been doing a little professional growing behind the scenes lately, and one of the things I’m most excited to share is that I recently completed an ocular hygiene course with SAMANTHA WALTERS | OCULAR HYGIENIST | CLINICAL LASH EDUCATION 🤍

As a lash artist, I’m not just interested in creating beautiful lashes. I want my environment to feel cozy and welcoming while still being clean and safe for every person who comes to spend their time with me.

I already take cleanliness seriously. I use a heated, wipeable vinyl sheet on my lash bed that is sanitized between clients, disinfect my tweezers and other tools used near the eyes, and keep multiple sets of tweezers on hand so I can properly disinfect between each client without having to rush the process.

But recently, I started thinking beyond my setup and more about the eyes themselves.

The beauty industry is becoming more health-conscious, and I want to be conscious of that, too. I want to understand more about the environment around the eyes, proper ocular hygiene practices, and how I can continue creating a clean, comfortable experience for every client who gets on my lash bed.

Because when you’re choosing a lash artist, cleanliness matters.

Your lash extensions are applied incredibly close to your eyes, so the space you’re receiving them in, the products being used, and the hygiene practices of your artist are all things worth paying attention to.

This course gave me even more knowledge and confidence in the practices I already have in place and gave me new things to bring into my studio experience moving forward.

I’m always going to be learning.
Always refining.
Always looking for ways to be better at what I do.
