Blood Moon Botanica
Thoughtfully made perfumes, incense, anointing oils, flower essences and skin care since 2015.
I thought it would be an interesting experiment to walk all of you through each and every step of what I do to get a full seasonal collection up and out the door to you. Some of this process will be very cool, some of it probably really boring.
And I know! It’s July 1st. That’s how much time I need to really pull together a whole collection.
Summer has just started, but my head and nose are in autumn.
Let me know if there’s anything specific you’re super interested in seeing as a part of this process.

Deep Green Tea cold process soap. Always made with wild gathered Oregon spring water and deep whole plant infusions. This soap is double infused with green tea, and green tea leaves infused in oils. The color is completely botanically based… the scent? Addictive. Green tea, bergamot and lemon zest.
I saved a bar for myself even 😅
It’s overrated.
Never depend on a man 😤

Moon Dew is genuinely magic. I use this every. Single. Day. Now that I’ve started using tretnoin (high powered retinol) my skin can get a little red, burning and hot. I’m not kidding when I say this: the instant I put this on my face my skin is soothed. Like, the sting and sensitivity GOES AWAY!
That’s because it’s full of licorice root extract, aloe vera juice and pure Bulgarian rose water.
There’s not a single filler ingredient in this hydrating serum.
IT SMELLS SO GOOD and I’m obsessed with the color. For this summer soap collection I’ve been really focused on bright fresh scent blends. This is green tea, bergamot and red grapefruit 🍋
This is the main hairstyle I’ve been wearing I think since 2019? I definitely had my cannon event of new mom identity crisis where I bleached my hair and went super short. A mullet feels very natural and comfortable for me. The best of both worlds.

The saga continues. Beans, squash and tomatoes are IN!
Pretty rad soap batch. Creamy coconut, juicy peach, a touch of honeysuckle. Very summer vibes.
