🌞 We’re squeezing every drop out of Summer 🌞

That means less days in the shop, more time in the woods and with dear ones. And, as much as we can, less time staring at the damn phone. The subtle shift in light tells us that fall and the busy season are not far off. So, we’re enjoying a little slowness while it’s still here. We hope you can, too 🌞

This yarrow was practically ✨glowing✨ in the evening light. Found this beauty in a high Sierra meadow on our roadtrip, looking absolutely stunning 👀

Yarrow was the first plant I learned to identify in a field not far from where this photo was taken, over 20 years ago. This remains one of my favorite and most-used topical herbs for healing minor skin abrasions, irritations, rashes and wounds 🌿

Here’s the last of the poppies closing over the last light in the permaculture garden last night 🌞 Summer is in full swing and time feels unreal. The busy fall and winter season looms, but right now we’re finding inspiration and joy wherever we can - often in the garden where the calendula and yarrow for Wild Rose products grow 🌼

This morning, the toddler found this song playing on college radio all on their own and it filled me with such joy, as this tune always does. May the small reasons for joy find you today, too 🌈
