It started in 8th grade when I was bullied for having acne. Back then, I caked on the makeup and it did NOT look good. Over the years, I have watched and learned from some of the best beauty bloggers out there. I am a Certified International Makeup Professional- this accreditation is through QC Makeup Academy. Nathan Johnson was an amazing tutor who worked on 2 seasons of Project Runway, and worked on celebs like Lea Michele, Paul McCartney, and Jessica Alba! Over the past year, I have had enough people tell me that I should get paid for what I do- so here I am! I take great pride in my work and that includes cleanliness and sanitation! I sanitize all brushes between clients and use disposable applicators when necessary. Makeup truly is an art form, and I appreciate you considering me to be your makeup artist! How do I make our beauty timelines stay ON TIME?
Like this! (Obvious caveat that if all the bridesmaids are late or no one arrives prepped as our prep guide states, those can cause delays out of our control 😉)
I’m honestly that crazy type A person whose gut says to assign names to time slots, but after 11 years of making timelines & working real weddings with real delays & scenarios, this TRULY is the best way to do it!
Of course if you have someone who absolutely needs to go first or last because they have a baby, have another appt, etc etc, of course we can accommodate that. But, generally speaking:
✨ Always have a few people there & ready to go
✨ Ensure everyone has read the prep guide & knows how to arrive for their hair or makeup service
✨ If it’s an early start time, ask a couple of girls who you know are early birds to kick things off
We take care of the rest! BUTT IN CHAIR = WE STAY ON TIME! 💕 It really can be that simple!

We do everything in our power to best prepare our brides / bridal parties for glam on the big day, but life happens, tears happen, you name it… We roll with it! (But these happen all toooo often lol!)

So many of our bridal clients either on their inquiry form or at their trial say one of the following things:
“I still want to look & feel like myself!”
“I don’t want to be cakey or overdone”
“I want to look like the most elevated version of myself”
“I don’t typically wear much makeup”
“Do I really need heavy makeup for it to photograph well?”
Here to reassure you that bridal makeup does not NEED to equal heavy makeup. If that’s your vibe, great! Let’s do it! But if not, it can absolutely be the most elevated version of yourself— like the stunning A shows off here! ✨💕

PART 2: Truths about Wedding Mornings!
✨ When thinking about the amount of pre ceremony photos you want, remember to account for at LEAST 40+ minutes to get dressed. It’s not JUST slipping into your gown… it’s going p*e once more, adding shape-wear/ sticky b***s, putting jewelry on, adding perfume, strapping on heels, fiddling with tags/ zippers/ buttons, etc etc. it’s a LOT!
✨ We want you all to EAT! But please don’t have your order of messy subs arriving for AFTER we pack up and leave. Schedule lunch to come well before our end time so we can touch up anything & apply lips when you’re done lunch!
✨ Getting ready in a hotel? Book a SUITE or a CONFERENCE ROOM. A normal sized room is way, wayyyy too small for a glam team, bridesmaids, dresses, bags, etc. If your venues bridal suite is also small, consider booking elsewhere for getting ready!
