STUDIO 811 — IMPORTANT PRICING UPDATE

I want to give my clients a heads-up about some upcoming changes at Studio 811.

When I first started using my booking software, I paid $25 a month. That same software will now cost me $56 a month a 124% increase, and they’re changing their credit card processing fees on top of it

For years, I’ve absorbed those fees as part of doing business because I wanted to keep my services affordable. Unfortunately, with the continued increases in operating costs, I can no longer absorb all of those expenses.

Beginning November 16, 2026, Studio 811 will offer two pricing options:

💵 CASH PRICE: My regular service prices will remain the same, plus any applicable sales tax.

💳 CARD PRICE: My regular service prices, plus applicable sales tax and a credit card processing adjustment where permitted.

I don’t want to increase everyone’s service prices to compensate for rising business expenses. Instead, I want to give my clients the option to save by paying cash.

A QUICK REMINDER ABOUT TIPPING:

As always, tips are neither required nor recommended at Studio 811. I have made the personal decision not to accept gratuities. I set my prices based on the value of my work, and I don’t expect my clients to pay anything extra as a tip.

I know the cost of everything continues to rise, and I understand that getting your nails done is an expense. My goal has always been to provide quality services at fair, transparent prices.

Sorry, I have not been posting much of my work. I’ve been trying to get clients in and out since I’ve been gone, but these tortoise shells turned out so cute. I forgot to take a picture of the 1990s theme. I’m kind of sad.

I didn’t get into this industry to nickel-and-dime people. I love what I do, and I believe customer service means taking care of people, even when things don’t go perfectly.

Something I never say is how grateful to my clients I am. Of all the techs you chose me. I am by no means perfect but you all allow me to go help my friend in Hawaii, you let my girls have adventures they otherwise could not- I am ready to come home and see everyone. 10 days is too long but a much needed refresher to come back and be my best for you. Being away has showed me how much I truly do love my job and miss my clients. Hawaii has been wonderful, I got some good sun and spent time with the fishes- the ocean is so incredibly healing- take the time- take the break everyone needs it
