Permanent makeup is, well… permanent. So don’t just pick an artist because you like one photo on Instagram.

Before you book, look for these things:

✨ Their work — Look through their portfolio and make sure you genuinely love their style, technique and results.

✨ Experience & education — Ask about their training, experience and continued education. A good artist should always be learning and improving.

✨ Consultation — You should feel heard. Your artist should consider your natural features, skin, lifestyle and expectations before deciding what technique is best.

✨ Honesty — A trustworthy artist won’t promise you “perfect” results or tell you that every service is right for everyone. Sometimes the right answer is no.

✨ Safety & sanitation — Your artist should have a clean, professional workspace and be transparent about their sanitation practices and single-use needles/cartridges.

✨ Communication — You should feel comfortable asking questions. If an artist makes you feel rushed, pressured or uncomfortable, keep looking.

✨ Trust your gut — You’re trusting someone with your face. Take your time, do your research, ask questions and choose someone you genuinely feel comfortable with.

I’m Lily, the face behind Ash & Autumn Permanent Cosmetics 🤎

I’m a small-town Washington girl, a mom, a creative artist, and someone who has always loved making people feel confident in their own skin.

I’ve spent years working with people, building businesses, creating, and learning every little detail of whatever I put my mind to. I’ve always had an eye for the small things—and that’s a huge part of why I fell in love with cosmetic tattooing.

I started Ash & Autumn because I wanted to create a space where women could feel comfortable, heard, and confident. I’m all about enhancing what you already have—not making you look like someone else.

From hand-done brow strokes to freckles, lips, eyeliner and more, I’m constantly learning and perfecting my craft because I want you to love your results. 🤍
