I don’t think I’ve ever received a gift as beautiful as this. My client and her sister took up the hobby 8 years ago of mosaics and I’m always asking to see what their latest project is. The things that they’ve made and the creativity they have blow my mind.

Today, she beat me to my studio (I was getting my dishwasher started) and she had a gift on her lap for me. As I was unwrapping it and realized it was one of her mosaics, my heart was overcome with joy and adoration that I get one of her pieces. Gifts like this, personal and from the heart, mean the world to me. She made this for Tessa and now her pretty iridescent swan gets to hang above her crib 🦢

The studio they work out of is through Glass Act Mosaics and they have their finished pieces for sale at 3 Hermanas Restaurant in Sacramento. Go get yourself a margarita, some chips and guac, and maybe leave with a beautiful piece of artwork to add to your collection!
