Meet Katie Dudley, Nurse Practitioner and Men’s Health Expert at The FITZ. 🤍
With seven years of experience in urology, Katie specializes in helping men navigate concerns related to hormones, hair loss, sexual health, energy, urinary health, and overall performance.
Her approach is personal, approachable, and grounded in making patients feel comfortable asking the questions they may not always feel comfortable bringing up.
Outside of the clinic, Katie enjoys reading, competing in Hyrox, gardening, teaching at church, and spending time with her family.

Hyperpigmentation vs. melasma. What’s the difference, and why does it matter?
Melasma is a hormonally influenced form of hyperpigmentation, and understanding that distinction can be important when building a treatment plan.
As our provider explains, melasma may respond differently to heat and skin injury than other types of pigmentation. That means certain energy-based treatments may not be appropriate for every patient and, in some cases, could contribute to a flare.
For patients with melasma, a provider may recommend starting with prescription topical skincare designed to help manage pigment before considering procedures that create heat or controlled injury in the skin.

Lip filler recovery is a process, and what you see immediately after treatment isn’t necessarily what you’ll see once everything has settled.
Temporary swelling, tenderness, redness, or bruising may occur after treatment, and every patient’s recovery experience can be different.
