Booksy live awards was a new one for me to enter and I am so thankful to have these nominations..

Something this last year or two has taught me;

People are meant to be creative,
and I truly believe the universe will reward you for doing so- and supporting others in their efforts to do so as well.
It started with reading The Artists Way by Julia Cameron and giving myself permission to create things without expectations or perfection. I highly recommend reading and following along with that book. Hand on my heart, I believe it changed my life.

We tend to want art to be perfect, when in reality the most important thing is to just show up.
However you are,
however you feel-
just let it exist and give yourself the ability to just be.

I did that. And here I am. Honestly more thrilled with my creations than ever before.

There is something we all tell ourselves we can’t do for one reason or another. Maybe someone we cared about made a negative comment that stuck, maybe we put that limitation on ourselves.

Either way, I have found that those exact things I “couldn’t do” were the things I really wanted to.

And the things that brought the most spark into my life, healing, and creative ventures.

If there is one thing I could inspire you to do, would just be to create.

Create imperfectly.
Create without knowing where it’s going.

It is rewarding. It is healing. It is powerful.

And I can promise you,
You will be surprised at where you find yourself a year from now. The universe will reward you.

There is room for you to be creative in your life. And in this world.

Go out there and be bold enough to try.
I dare you. 🫶
