My friend from New Mexico-my poster child for Dimples-came to the Salon for her annual haircut. She is an absolute ray of sunshine and brings so much joy!! I always look forward to seeing her. ❤️ 

Before and after: I absolutely love this girl!!❤️ we all have our artistic styles, I loved her hair before, very artistic and it’s her!!. It’s ok to change it up once in awhile..always remember thou..just be you!! ☀️ 

Here’s one of my girls and today we shagged it, banged it, lowlight lighted with natural copper/red, and touch up roots, all on a full moon🌝 Shake and Go …S and G😂

Here’s a pic of my wonderful husband and my good friend Nancy Gilliam at the Saluda Nursing home a couple of months ago. She left this world on Thursday and i miss her so. When I read the obit and they’re not having any services, I felt what a shame because she was such a wonderful grand spirit! I wanted to celebrate her life. I’m writing this for myself and I want to tell you about her.
I came into Edgefield September 2004, she was the florist then and she welcomed me into the neighborhood with a peace lily which my helper Rosalyn try to kill😂 She asked me if I did Margret Holmes hair and I said I did, and she told me I was the only one in town that could please her 🤷then I started doing her hair right away. Our birthdays are both in November and in that first birthday month she brought me these roses that wouldn’t die they lasted for months. It was sort of a miracle! Just like she was, cause after that she was gone for a couple of months and then she came back….she got sober and stayed sober until the day she died. I’ve proceeded to do her hair for the next 20 years.(except for that one year I was out with my hand surgery and Emily M and Stephanie took care of her then🌼)
Nancy to me was one of the most classiest, gracious, loving, southern lady that I’ve ever met (kinda like the Yaya sisters). She always dress impeccably, loved honey buns, and small town gossip.. We became the bestest of friends.
When I plan to secretly marry the love of my life 10 years ago, Nancy always had that six sense, and she knew I was keeping a secret. She asked and she was one of the few I told. Then I told her we were gonna get married at the Waffle House and she wouldn’t have that..”you’re coming to my house and getting married”. Which we did and proceeded to Herlong’s house to 🎉 celebrate!!!
We had a grand old time together. I loved her stories, I love the way she let go and let God. I loved how she called my husband, Robert when his real name was Michael.(we didn’t care. It was a running joke). The three of us created a song together and every day that would rain (which was a lot) we were singing “🎵 it’s a crappy rainy day” 🎵and laugh our asses off.
 I miss you, sweet Nancy …until we meet again. Say hello to Mane for me and your Mom… and thank you😘 ☮️ peace
