Two years ago, on October 5th, our world changed. We lost you, and there isn’t a day that goes by that you aren’t missed so much by all of us.

But you’re still here in so many ways.

We still talk about you and to you. A lot.

Sometimes we swear we feel that tap on our shoulder.

Every new person who joins our team learns about you. They hear the stories, the funny ones that still make us laugh, and the memories that remind us just how much you meant to all of us. We show them everything you taught us, because we never want anyone who becomes part of J. Morgan to not know the person who helped make it what it is.

When we have a new idea, make a big decision, or start planning what’s next, you still cross our minds. We think about what you would say, what you would think, and whether you’d be proud of what we’re doing.

You and Jayson believed in us. You saw something in each of us and pushed us to believe that we could be better, do better, and be the best versions of ourselves. That belief didn’t leave when you did. We carry it with us.

We wish you could see where we are today. We wish you could walk through the doors, see the team, laugh with us, and see everything we’re continuing to build.

We miss your voice.
We miss your laugh.
We miss your presence.
And those baby blue eyes.

But we promise we’ll keep telling the stories. We’ll keep saying your name. We’ll keep sharing your memories. And we’ll keep moving forward with you in our hearts and your legacy in everything we do.
