A Professional Update from Foot-o-logy

For over 30 years, I have dedicated my career to providing specialized foot care, and for the past several years I have built Foot-o-logy around a very specific standard of care for our clients.

Because our work often involves seniors, homebound individuals, hospice patients, and clients referred to us by healthcare professionals, I take the training of anyone representing Foot-o-logy extremely seriously. A professional license is an important qualification, but licensure alone does not represent the extensive clinical training, experience, protocols, and standards of care that I require within my practice.

I want our clients, families, caregivers, and referral partners to know that any former employee or trainee who is no longer working with Foot-o-logy is operating independently and does not represent, work for, or provide services on behalf of Foot-o-logy.

If someone contacts you offering foot-care services and you are unsure whether that person is currently affiliated with our practice, please contact Foot-o-logy directly to verify.

I have spent many years earning the trust of our clients, their families, physicians, hospice organizations, and other healthcare professionals. Protecting that trust—and maintaining the standard of care our clients deserve—will always come first.

I want to invite everyone out to the Senior Expo at the Lansing Mall tomorrow! Everything you need to know if you are retiring or if you've got parents that are seniors.. this is the place you need to visit.
The Expo is from 11:00 to 2:00 at the Lansing Mall. There will be many giveaways and tons of information.

Also attending will be Dr. Shannon Smith who is part of my network and offers lymphatic drainage massages among so many other things for our seniors.

This is what an ingrown nail looks like. There is a little hook under the nail that digs into the soft nail tissue and that should be the only part of the nail that is cut out.
Before and afters, of a client that was in pain from this toenail. Took me 2 seconds to alleviate the pain and this is why I do when I do 🦶🦶❤️❤️

Footology would also like welcome Christine Patrick as a mobile stylist for all of my kids that can't get out, she provides the best haircuts and is so careful and loving.

This weekend l I lost three clients, I have been caring for a very long time and their families have become my families.
I want to acknowledge how much I will miss them and how much I am honored to have cared for them

Just a heads up for all my clients who don't know, I broke my hand last Tuesday. My left hand. I can still use my right hand for clipping. I'm so lucky to have Hanna! She has been the "sunshine to my rain" the last week and a half.
Still taking new clients of course. Hanna's doing the wet work and I am clipping.
I got my cast off today. But I plan on working with Hanna the next 3 weeks because I can't lift anything.
I want to thank all of you for watching me train, letting her train/learn on you all, the past couple years. She is an asset to Foot-o-logy 🦶🦶❤️❤️.
