Hi everyone!

I have some exciting news to share.

As of this month, I am officially the new owner of Stillwater Float Center! 💙

If you've been around for a while, there's a good chance we've met. Whether you've floated with us for years, attended an event, followed along on social media, or simply stopped by for a float while in town, I've had the privilege of being part of this community for several years now.

What started as a job quickly became something much more meaningful. Floating has had a profound impact on my own life, and over the years I've become such a believer in the practice that I've completed multiple floating marathons, including my very first streak of 75 days in a row. (Yes, really. Only planned on 30 days initially 😅) Through life's busy seasons, challenges, and transitions, floating has consistently been one of the tools that's helped me slow down, reset, and reconnect with myself. I've cried, been excited about life, had some incredible naps, and even had a few out of body experiences in the pods the last six years I've floated at Stillwater.

Because of that, this place has never felt like just a job to me. It's hard to put into words what it means because it's been such a big part of my life for so many years. It's a place that's supported my own growth, introduced me to incredible people, and become my second home. Having the opportunity to continue serving this community as the new owner is something I don't take lightly, and honestly, I still have moments where it doesn't quite feel real, and terrifies me a little.

As excited as I am about this next chapter, I also want to take a moment to recognize the person who made all of this possible.

Nearly 13 years ago, Tyler took a leap of faith and opened the doors to Stillwater. At a time when many people had never even heard of floating, he introduced the Treasure Valley to a different way of slowing down, healing, and prioritizing wellness. Through years of dedication, hard work, and care, he built something truly special here. The community, culture, and experience you've come to know today exist because of the vision he had all those years ago and the countless hours he poured into bringing it to life.

Tyler, thank you for everything you've done for Stillwater, for believing in floating long before it became mainstream, and for creating a space that has positively impacted so many lives, including my own. I'm incredibly grateful for the foundation you've built and for the trust you've placed in me to carry it forward!

While ownership may be changing, the heart of Stillwater remains the same. My goal is to continue providing the welcoming, relaxing, and supportive environment you've come to know while finding new ways to help you prioritize rest, wellness, and self-care. There may be some fresh ideas, new offerings, and exciting changes ahead, but the mission that has guided this center for nearly 13 years isn't going anywhere.

Thank you for being part of this journey! Whether you've floated once or a hundred times, I'm grateful you're here. I truly can't wait to see what this next chapter brings.
