Piper on the Pier is BACK! Starting this Saturday, October 10, 2026, the City of Dunedin Pipe Band will have a piper, and often a drummer, play for 15-20min, concluding with “Amazing Grace” at sunset, on the Bon Appetit Restaurant & Marina Bar pier, in the Dunedin Marina.

These performances will happen every Friday and Saturday (with a few exceptions) for the next few months! The performance concludes at sunset, so be sure to check times before heading down! This Saturday sunset is 7:07pm, so we’ll be starting around 6:50pm.

Piper on the Pier is a wonderful Dunedin event, and celebrates the heart of our community. We love welcoming visitors and residents alike, who come down to the water to enjoy the performances. We hope to see you there

In partnership with Hope for Misfits 🐾 we want to introduce you to Denali & Acadia!!

🐾 BONDED PAIR LOOKING FOR A HOME TOGETHER 🐾

Denali and Acadia are 1-year-old best friends available for adoption through Mercy Full Project. These girls are bonded and would love to find one family to call their own. 🤍

Denali is the quieter, more laid-back sister. She loves peaceful days, cozy naps and staying close to the people she trusts.

Acadia is a little more outgoing and playful. She enjoys exploring the yard, learning new commands and curling up beside her people when she’s done.

Together, they help each other feel safe and confident.

🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Making great progress with potty training
🐾 Calm around other dogs
🐾 Affectionate and mostly quiet
🐾 Spayed, vaccinated and microchipped

Both girls are heartworm positive.

The goal is to find Denali and Acadia a home together. Two sweet girls. One home. ❤️

Please share Denali and Acadia and help us find the family that’s been looking for a pair just like them. 🏡🐾 Mercy Full Project

A bench honoring Medhat “Mike” Sadiku once sat on the Dunedin Causeway.

Hurricane Helene swept it away in 2024, and his family thought it was gone for good.

Then a woman in Bermuda found it on a beach and reached out to the family on social media, sending photos of the bench more than 1,100 miles from Dunedin.

An absolutely wild journey for a bench that means so much to one family. Mike’s memory has reached farther than anyone could have imagined. 💙
