63 Moose Lane

It's a few more weeks until the next craft show for 63 Moose Lane, so we're taking a few days this week for a short fall color trip to Marquette, Michigan and getting out to take in a few local shows as customers!

Here is a list of the upcoming shows where we will be that are currently on our calendar:

-Saturday, October 24: Salem Lutheran Church Apple Festival & Craft Fair, 9:00 -3:00
-Saturday, November 7: Stella Maris-Holy Rosary School Craft Fair, 9:00 - 3:00
-Friday-Saturday, November 13-14: Christmas Market at Old School Lives in Cotton, 9165 US-53, 10:00-3:00 both days
-Saturday, November 21: Fall Craft Fair by the Christ Lutheran Church Youth Group, 320 N. 28th St., Superior, 9:00 - 2:00
-Saturday, December 5: Christmas Bazaar and Cookie Sale by Kenwood Lutheran Church, 2720 Myers Ave., 9:00 - 1:00

APPLES! People came far and wide for apples this past weekend at Apple Palooza...and to see 63 Moose Lane! We had one customer from Lubbock, Texas who said she came all the way here to attend Apple Palooza, and a couple of customers (including one repeat customer) who now live in Duluth but who moved here from California in recent years. We've had other previous California residents who have moved to Duluth and discovered 63 Moose Lane...so if you know someone there, tell them about us...we ship anywhere in the U.S.! Wherever you're from, thank you for your support! And among vendors, we very much enjoyed meeting Brandy and her husband Adam who came all the way from Trout Lake, Michigan - about an hour west of Sault Ste. Marie - as their UP Creations was in the show this weekend! Check out their work in their photos and on their Etsy shop - they are talented and have appeared in juried shows across the Upper Peninsula! We vacation in the Soo every year and it's a small world learning that Brandy, Adam, and we share acquaintances in their part of the world! We loved getting to meet you and want to stay in touch and hopefully do a show again with you, whether here or closer to your area!

The 63 Moose Lane crew has a few open Saturdays before our calendar fills up in earnest starting Saturday, October 24 with the Salem Lutheran Church Apple Festival and Craft Fair in Hermantown. If you didn't get enough apples this weekend at the DECC...put this one on your calendar! Their legendary apple brats for lunch are a highlight, as are the local craft vendors! We have an indoor spot again this year and we'll be re-stocking your favorite bath, body, and home cleaning products, some of which sold out this past weekend at Apple Palooza!

We’re all set up at Apple Palooza in Pioneer Hall at the DECC-and we are easy to find. Just look for the restrooms! Come see us until 6:00 today for your favorite bath, body, and home products! (And apples 🍎!)

Trivia time: This Saturday will be the first time since 63 Moose Lane's first year doing craft shows in 2019 that we've done a show held at the DECC! Apple Palooza moves to Pioneer Hall this year but still has apples, kids activities, several of the area's best food trucks, live music, and over 65 local craft vendors including us!

The show runs 10-6 Saturday and 10-4 Sunday, however 63 Moose Lane will only be there on Saturday. Admission is free; parking in the DECC parking lot/ramp is $10. We're looking forward to seeing you!

This year the event changes location as it moves to Pioneer Hall at the DECC, but your favorites will still be there: apples, kids activities, live music, a blacksmith demonstration, several of the area's best food trucks, and over 65 craft vendors, including us!

The event runs 10-6 Saturday and 10-4 Sunday, however 63 Moose Lane will only be there on Saturday. If you park at the DECC parking lot or ramp, there is a $10 charge for parking.

And all through the house
The soap maker was napping

The van is unloaded
The table displays put away with care
We saw many of our fellow crafters today
Including StoneDog Ridge, Hoder Handmade, Miel, and Care.

We also saw friends a-plenty
Repeat customers faithful and true
It was such a long day, it had to be at least twenty
We love each and every one of you.

Apple Palooza, our next show will be good again we hope
It will be here in just one more week
We need to make more Lavender and Cashmere Creme Soap
And another supply order we seek.

Your marketing analyst is a Jack of all trades
Today he sold us out of a soap called Shades
Tonight you learned he can combine social media and poetry with all his might
