Our Story

BAWSE stands for Beautiful, Ambitious Women Set Examples.

BAWSE Beauty Studio is more than a beauty brand—it is a testament to resilience, growth, faith, and the power of believing in yourself, even when the journey doesn't go as planned.

Founded by D'Andreia Brown, BAWSE Beauty Studio began as a dream in 2017 under the name Eye Candy Bar, specializing in lashes, brows, and makeup services. Starting with house calls and eventually securing a booth inside a salon, D'Andreia quickly discovered her passion for helping women look and feel their best. While she possessed the talent and drive, the business knowledge necessary to sustain long-term growth was still developing, and over time, the business became inactive.

Then came 2020.

Like many people around the world, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected challenges and uncertainty. During this season of reflection and transition, D'Andreia discovered a new creative passion: lip gloss formulation.

What began as a hobby quickly evolved into a thriving business venture. She began creating custom lip glosses that received overwhelming praise from customers, many of whom still describe them as some of the best glosses they have ever used. Inspired by the positive response, D'Andreia officially launched BAWSE Beauty Studio and expanded into a cosmetics line featuring lip glosses and matte lipsticks.

As her passion evolved, so did her vision.

Her focus expanded beyond makeup into body care and skincare. She began formulating products such as body butters, sugar scrubs, facial cleansers, and other self-care essentials. Through this journey, she developed a deep appreciation for skincare and became determined to understand the science behind healthy skin and how to help others achieve confidence through proper skin health.

This passion led D'Andreia to pursue her Esthetics License, followed by her Esthetics Instructor License, allowing her to not only serve clients but also educate future beauty professionals.

A defining milestone in her career came when she was recognized by Dermalogica as one of the Top 20 Esthetics Instructors in the United States, an achievement that reflects her commitment to excellence, education, and advancing the skincare industry.

Today, BAWSE Beauty Studio embodies everything D'Andreia has learned throughout her journey: perseverance, education, confidence, self-love, and empowerment.

The mission of BAWSE Beauty Studio is simple: to help every client feel beautiful, confident, and empowered in their own skin. Whether through customized facials, waxing services, corrective skincare treatments, or professional skincare education, every service is designed to provide results while creating an uplifting and luxurious experience.
