After chemical breakage from past salons, and feeling as though her hair stopped growing, she researched extensions for awhile, and she decided to go for it.

4 ways to maintain the longevity of your extensions:
1. Brushing often. Holding down your wefts, and brushing the ends of your hair and working your way up will keep your extensions from getting tangled and worn
2. Proper at home product care. At every new hair install, I send my guest home with a care package including a full size of Goldie Locks Shampoo, Conditioner, and Leave In Conditioner. This product line was created to give ultimate moisture and hydration, especially to extensions.
3. Turn down the heat. This goes for water, blow dryer and hot tools. Heat opens up the cuticle which then releases the natural moisture and hydration you have in your hair. Extensions don’t have a cuticle (outermost layer of hair) so in turn, they don’t have that layer to protect against intense heat which causes breakage, dryness, brittleness.
4. Do not sleep with your hair wet. Sleeping or leaving your wefts to air dry will cause swelling at the stitching and can cause bacteria to build up. Also, air drying or sleeping with wet hair will cause matting between your natural hair and the extensions which will limit the lifespan of the extensions.

“Hand Tied Weft”
We hear it all the time, but what is it?! 🤔
A hand tied weft is a thin, flexible, strip of hair that is literally sewn by hand, strand by strand, hence “hand tied”.
It is the way the hair is adhered to the weft and can take around 3 hours to do one single weft! 🙀
The wefts come in all color combinations and can be layered with multiple wefts to create the desired look/color. A hand tied weft is so thin, it will be less bulky, lay flatter, it’s more comfortable and will be easier to blend/customize. Hand tied wefts are ideal for all hair types and densities, even very thin!
The wefts of hair are laid on top of a row of detailed beading to ensure scalp health, and then precision stitching the hair to the anchor points (beads).
e misconception is that Hand Tied is the method. A method is how it is executed. The method I am educated, confident in and stand behind is Invisible Bead Extensions.

Now this is what dreams are made of! 😍
I love using balayage on my brunettes to add in sun-kissed dimension that stays low maintenance and grows out seamlessly.
As a busy working full time nurse and part time student, she needs the lower maintenance appointments.
We haven’t touched up her balayage in months, and have only maintained the retouch and an occasional gloss to keep her balayage rich, shiny and controlled.
1. First and foremost - Brush hair when it’s dry BEFORE you get in the shower. This will make your shampoo and conditioning experience easier and will prep your hair for after the shower.
2. DO NOT “rough dry” hair with towel when wet. ❌ This will not only damage and rough up your cuticle, it will create unneeded frizziness and set your style up for failure. Towel blot the water out.
3. Think of your hair as an elastic hairband. Healthy hair has good elasticity and can bounce back to its original state. Unhealthy, damaged, over processed or dry hair when wet, if pulled past its natural elasticity will never return back to normal. ——> Breakage!!🙀
4. Before you even think about brushing out your hair when wet, always use a leave-in conditioner mid lengths and ends. My favorite is Goldie Locks Ultra Hydrating Leave In Conditioner. The point of a leave in is to prep the hair with hydration and moisture, detangle, soften the cuticle and prep for blow dry
5. After spraying leave in, always use a detangling brush (Wet Brush) or wide tooth comb and start from the ends and work your way up. Section your hair out if needed to ensure all tangles are out. If you rip through your hair (literally) with a brush, your elasticity is being compromised!
6. Lastly, when drying your hair, make sure to blow dry on medium heat and make sure you dry about 70% before you start using some sort of styling brush.
The road to healthy hair starts at home. 💁🏼♀️

Would you believe me if I told you this was my mom?! Well it is🤗
I talked to her into a balayage for the first time but she said she didn’t want to lose her brightness or blonde.
