Nika's Cupcake Bar

Lots of people have asked how I’ve learned the caking business and I owe a lot to Pk Elixirs! How to price . How to pivot . How to just GO!!! 🧁✨🧁

If I haven’t responded to you this week, its because I am hosting my last baking retreat here in Dallas!

Friday’s recipe calls for good food, a little extra money, absolutely no foolishness and something sweet for dessert.

Heavy on the extra money. 😂

What are y’all adding to the recipe?

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of making cupcakes pretty. 😂

The frosting. The colors. The little details that make somebody say, “Wait, who made these?”

Baby, that’s my department.

And we’re just getting started with what Nika’s Cupcake Bar is becoming. 💕

I got my appetite back.

Not just for cupcakes. For my own life.

Taking a little time away gave me room to actually live and somewhere in there, I realized I’d been adjusting the recipe a little too much.

For business. For expectations. For everybody but me.

So, I changed the recipe.

A little more joy.
A heavier pour of discernment.
And absolutely no adjusting the recipe for everybody else.

The Recipe: Appetite for My Own Life.

This is the first card in a new series from Nika’s Cupcake Bar where cupcakes, conversation and a little inspiration meet.

Now tell me: if your life had a recipe card right now, what’s ONE ingredient you’d add more of?

Mine is joy. 💕

Bite into the experience.

Quick question:

If your life had a recipe card right now, what’s one ingredient you’d add more of?

Mine? Intention.

I’m learning I don’t need more on my plate. I need the right things on it.

What are you adding?

Your logo on a cupcake? That’s sweet marketing. What brand would you love to see on ours?

The Recipe: Stop adding more to a plate you already said was full.

That goes for commitments, favors, and that third project you volunteered for because you “can make it work.”

What needs to come off your plate this week, Cakies?

💕💕

I don’t need much…

A little engagement.
A little support.
A little “girl, keep going.”

And about 72,846 Facebook Stars. 😂⭐️

We’re baking again. We’re creating again. And I’m opening the doors wider so y’all can really see what I’m building with Nika’s Cupcake Bar.

So yes, Cakies—SEND THEM STARS.

Consider it your contribution to the cupcake fund. 😂
