I’m especially excited to share that Sheryl Gray will be joining us later this fall to discuss her nonprofit program and the educational opportunities she is bringing to our youth. We’re looking at late October/early November 2026 for this special community offering at our Dover wellness center.

This is exactly what I want AMB to continue becoming. Not simply a place where you come for a massage, but a space for wellness, education, connection, collaboration, and community.

Dover YMCA Open to the Community Following Severe Weather

In the wake of last night’s tornado and severe weather in the Dover area, the Dover YMCA is opening its doors at our main branch to community members who may be without power or need a safe place to recharge.

You do not need to be a YMCA member to come in. Community members are welcome to:

⚡ Charge phones and other devices
🚿 Take a hot shower
📶 Access Wi-Fi
🏠 Spend time in a safe, comfortable space

All visitors must show a valid photo ID upon arrival.

If you or someone you know has been impacted by the storm, please know that the Dover YMCA is here for you.

Even though Downtown Dover is called a Farmers Market, their initiative is so much bigger than a market. And to truly understand that, you needed to be there to see what they’re building for our community.

They’re creating a place where small businesses are seen, local farmers are supported, entrepreneurs are introduced to new customers, families gather, neighbors connect, and people rediscover what Downtown Dover has to offer.

Because let me tell you something
People care about Delaware.

People want to live here. Invest here. Shop here. Build businesses here. Raise families here. Buy homes here. Eat here. Create here. Gather here. And build something meaningful here.

But if we want people to pour into our communities, we have to give them something worth pouring into.

That means we, as business owners, residents, farmers, makers, wellness professionals, artists, educators, and community leaders have to put our boots on the ground and SHOW UP.

Not just talk about wanting a thriving community.

Participate in building one.

AMB Mobile Massage & Wellness Center will be pulling back up to the Downtown Dover Farmers Market on 9/5, 10/5 and 11/14 bringing massage therapy, Ayurvedic counseling, holistic wellness workshops, self-care finds, wellness education, and opportunities for our community to experience wellness in ways they may have never explored before.

I want people to know that wellness doesn’t have to feel intimidating or inaccessible. Sometimes it starts with a conversation. A few minutes in a massage chair. Learning something new about your body. Discovering a self-care practice. Or simply meeting a wellness professional in your own community and realizing, “I didn’t even know this was here.”

That is why events matter.

Visibility creates connection.
Connection creates community.
And community creates growth.
