Happy Tuesday everybody!! Now it’s time for me to tell you about Hadasa! We met when we worked together at a salon in town. One of the first times we chatted, I was walking down the hallway to my massage room and I’m sure I had a face. She turned the corner and said, “umm why’d you look at me like that?” & in that moment I knew she was my girl. She was going to say what needed to be said and do what needed to be done. She toured the spa when it was dusty and signed the lease. She’s been with me through the moves, the growth and the change. Hadasa is hardworking and cares about the experience her clients get while visiting Dothan Day Spa. My girl is more times than not my first- “good morning,” while we sip our store bought lattes. And always going to be the one I see the most in the color room. Really thankful for Hadasa and for all that she brings to the spa. Oh & a fun little thing - when we were moving her into her new space, we were trying to decide where to put the shampoo bowl - I mentioned backing it off the wall in case she ever needs room for a baby bump. AND NOW SHES GROWING OUR FIRST SPA BABY!! We are all obsessed with her belly, her glow, her waddle and we can’t wait to meet and spoil our spa babe!

Hey, me again!!! Now let me introduce our girl Hannah Coleman. I met Hannah while we worked at a salon together for a couple years ago. I quickly enjoyed her company, so easy to talk to, chill and always gonna be cleaning something. Hannah is another one who has been with me since the beginning of Dothan Day Spa. She came to view it when there was still sawdust all over the floor and she signed the lease shortly after. I use to rearrange the spa every other week, I mean I still do but in different ways now. But Hannah was always my first text about how something looked. Always knowing and trusting that she was in my brain a little bit and knew exactly what I was trying to accomplish. It seems more times than not, our brains are on the same wavelength. Shes always been at the station right behind the check out counter, always the first to catch my face after someone leaves or the first one to catch the funny thing I needed to say about an interaction I had. Shes been a constant, always knowing these things - Hannah’s station will be the cleanest. Hannah’s hair will always be fixed - even on a t-shirt day. Hannah will always be willing to do any project I ask if it makes our space a little better. Oh and my girl Hannah proudly handpicked every single song that you hear on the playlist at the spa. Hey y’all, it’s Callie again!! I’m going to introduce another one of our team members - my girl Ashley. My first one at Dothan Day Spa. She came in when there was sawdust all over the floor, wet paint, and I don’t even think we had power yet. But she listened to the dreams I had for the space and signed the contract the next day. She’s believed in this dream of mine since day one. Even today I sat next to her on our new pink couch - and found myself talking to her about future goals and dreams for the spa. She’s watched this space grow alongside of me.

After she’d been at the spa for about 2 months, we were hanging out on a Sunday night and over a glass of wine she made a purchase on a sketchy website to purchase her Japanese head spa table. 3 long months later she was the first one in Dothan to have a head spa table & she’s been busting her b***y since. She loves what she does and it’s so evident in her work ethic and care for her clients. Really thankful for our girl, Ashley Parker. Beauty by Ashley Parker

Hey yall, it’s Callie - I wanna tell y’all about someone so special to all of us!!

About a year ago when I broke my ankle I was out of work for 3 months healing. I remember crying because I was letting so many people down. I had to find someone to help me while I was out. I searched & searched and finally had someone tell me about Adam! He came in to the spa for an interview, I met him at the door with my scooter and boot & I knew the second I met him he was the massage therapist I could trust to join our team. I never thought we’d allow a boy into our girls club but we did and ever since he’s joined the team he’s been just a joy! Clients love him, the team loves him! Adam came into the spa with clients but he is currently accepting new clients! He is wonderful - he specializes in deep tissue, but if you just wanna take a nap he can do that too!
