What to expect during an Ashiatsu Massage?
During an Ashiatsu massage, therapists use their bare feet to deliver deep compression, long gliding strokes, and/or assisted stretching.
Reading that, you might feel apprehensive about receiving an Ashiatsu treatment. You may wonder if having your back walked on will be intense, painful, or even scary. Don’t worry, though! Ashiatsu therapists have full control over how your body is treated, and the massage is tailored to your needs just as a deep tissue or Swedish massage would be.
Keep in mind, this isn’t just someone stepping on your back – it’s carefully choreographed therapeutic movements. Ashiatsu therapists undergo extensive training to master the technique, learning how to control their body weight and movement to provide exactly the right amount of pressure for healing and relaxation.

☀️ Summer time draws more “pigment concerned” clients into our spa.
The sunshine accentuates the pigment already there and is likely damaging more melanocytes under the skin for future sunspots to form.
Pigmentation can be reversed, but it’s crucial that you’re also using product to PREVENT.

It’s July 1 and our Cryo Facial is officially on the menu until August 31st.
We have exciting news regarding this facial, we have a new cold mist that will now be added in addition to cold towels, cold stones, ice globes, and our cryo wand!
Not only is this facial going to include the cold mist, but upon request we can offer this for clients who suffer from rosacea or respiratory issues and can’t handle our normal warm steam.

Chill out!…literally 😉In one week today we have a summer favorite on the menu!
Cold therapy tools are noted for reducing inflammation, redness, and puffiness, stimulating circulation and helping to sculpt the face. Our estheticians use cold stones, ice globes, cryotherapy wand, and cold towels to achieve the above results!
“Icing” has been popular in many cultures and it’s not just an old wives tale. Chilling the skin causes blood vessels to contract, shrinking pores and reducing puffiness immediately. Then, when the cold source is removed, blood and oxygen rush to the surface of the skin as it returns to its regular temperature, providing an overall tightening and glow-boosting benefit.
