I’ve been quietly building something behind the scenes for beauty and wellness professionals who are great at what they do… but don’t always have the time, team, or budget to keep every part of the business moving.

I’ve been testing what happens when AI is given an actual job instead of just another prompt — helping with client care, follow-up, content support, operations, inventory, reminders, and more — while keeping the human in control.

And whew. 👀

The more I build, test, break, fix, and learn, the more I realize this is becoming something much bigger than I originally expected.

I’ll be sharing more over the next couple of weeks about what I’m building, what I’m learning, what works, what doesn’t, and how AI can support a business without removing the human side of it.

Because the goal isn’t to replace the human.

It’s to give the human more room to do what only they can do. 💜

Sometimes you don’t understand what somebody was teaching you until you’re old enough to look back and recognize the lesson.
I thought Mr. ACE was teaching me how to cut hair.
I thought Miss Robin was teaching me cosmetology.
I thought Miss Icy was giving me a place to work.
They were doing so much more.
One taught me courage in the craft.
One taught me discipline in the craft.
One taught me how to see beyond the craft.
And somewhere between sweeping floors, redoing an entire perm set, watching shears move like Edward Scissorhands 😂, sitting in the first station by the door, raising a little salon baby, and listening to the wisdom of women who had already lived some life…
I was becoming.
And while recording this episode, I realized something else:
I haven’t been starting over every time I return to this industry.
I’ve been circling back with more tools.
