Shay McClendon is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and has been teaching fitness classes since she was 17 years old. There, she cultivated her love for dance and performing arts. She fell in love with all kinds of dance, including Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary and her absolute favorite, African Dance. After the birth of her daughters in 2016 she was faced with the challenges that so ma

Being a mom and having to battle a serious thyroid disorder has given her a unique perspective on weight loss. Her training style incorporates a holistic approach that focuses on the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspect of weight loss. Today she uses her background in dance to teach her clients the important of flexibility and stabilization training. She is also completing her Nutrition Coaching, Weight Loss Specialist Women’s Fitness Specialist and Yoga Instructor Training. She offers services in a range of areas including, weight loss, postpartum training, high-intensity, and resistance training. She recently accomplished another life-long dream and became a Nurse. Graduating Nursing School at the height of the Coronavirus Pandemic, Shay wasn’t afraid to go to work and took a job the day after she passed her NCLEX. When she is not working out, she is singing, dancing, or playing with her twins. Her life’s mission is to help women change the way they see, think and speak about themselves.
