This is the part of permanent makeup that I wish clients got to see more often.
Not just the before and after — but all the little decisions happening in between.
With this client, I had to think about her very active lifestyle, the areas where natural brow hair was missing, AND some previous pigment still sitting in the skin.
All three changed how I approached her brows.
That’s actually one of the things I enjoy most about doing this after so many years. I don’t look at a client and immediately think, “Okay, we’re doing microblading,” or “We’re doing powder brows.”
I look at what’s in front of me first.
Then I figure out what makes sense.

Apparently we’re bedazzling everything now… so obviously the brows were next. ✨😂
Trends come and go, but underneath all that sparkle I’m still looking at the same thing — fine strokes, good placement, and brows that actually look like they belong on her face.
Would I send a client home like this? Probably not. 😂
Did I need to try the trend? Absolutely.

The stereotype that permanent eyebrow makeup always looks too dark and unnatural is long outdated.
Just look at my beautiful client! 😍We did Microblading to gently fill in sparse areas and define the shape while keeping her brows looking natural. They’re more defined, yet still soft and harmonious—as if they were her own brow hairs.

“Wait… are my lips going to stay THAT bright?” 💋
This is probably one of the biggest concerns I hear about Lip Blush — and this returning client is the perfect example of why you shouldn’t judge the color immediately after the appointment.
She came back for her Lip Blush color refresh, and what you’re seeing here is the fresh result.
Yes, it looks bright right now. That’s normal. 🤎
During the first few days, the lips will begin to peel and that initial intensity will soften quite a bit. Then comes the part that requires a little patience — the color continues to settle and the true healed result is evaluated around 8 weeks.
So when you see those beautiful, bright Lip Blush photos immediately after an appointment, remember: fresh is not finished.
The goal isn’t for her lips to stay this bold. It’s for them to heal into a softer, more natural-looking wash of color that complements her features.
And because she’s a returning client, we’re simply refreshing what has faded over time rather than starting from scratch. 💋

Every year when October comes around, I think the same thing: this is such a good time to get your brows done. 🍂
Not because October magically makes microblading better. 😂
It’s just a much easier season for the healing process.
Here in Florida, summer usually means beach days, pools, vacations, sweating and a LOT of sun — basically everything I’m asking you to be careful with after your appointment.
Once we get into fall, it becomes a little easier to give those brows the time they need.
And if you do them now, they also have time to heal, soften and settle before we get deep into the holidays. 🤎
After doing this for years, I’ve learned that when you schedule your permanent makeup can matter almost as much as what you schedule.
So if brows have been sitting somewhere on your “I’ll eventually do it” list… October is a pretty good month to finally move them up. 🍂
