‼️NAIL RESTORATION ‼️

This poor girl came to me with some serious damage on her pinky nails (onycholysis: separation of the nail from the nail bed). She had been getting acrylic nails done consistently for years, and unfortunately they had applied the product too thick, which caused this damage.

Her nails were so tender she could hardly even wash her hair!!
I told her I would do my best to help her, but with the nails that had the onycholysis I would not put any product on them until they grew out and reattached.

On her left hand ring finger she has a serious crack running all the way through her nail that was also causing her a huge amount of pain. I was nervous to put any product on it, so I just reinforced it with a thin layer of fiber gel to keep it from splitting further, and hopefully help manage her pain.

That was the game plan.

It took a long few months of her coming every 2-3 weeks (I unfortunately don't have some of the later nail progress photos) but we finally got to where her fingers are pain free!!

I'm so glad I was able to help her love her nails again, and that they're finally healthy and strong.

Working on damaged nails is not something I do often, and I am not a medical professional, so I can't diagnose anything.

But if I am able to help at all, I will.
