✨ Sarah has officially wrapped up her apprenticeship with us! She has been working her butt off, shadowing Denver Hair Stylist • Sam Jarvis for the past six months and completing all of our advanced education.
Sarah landed at Cedar in a fun and serendipitous way; I (Emily) actually purchased a mirror from her on Facebook marketplace (🤪) and 6 months later she reached out to tell me she had just signed up for hair school and wanted to shadow at the salon. In late 2024 we ended up bringing her on one day a week to assist, and the rest is history. We love having her!

Sarah is originally from Georgia, moved to Denver while working in the corporate world, but always had the urge to try hair. Lucky for us, she did! She loves creating natural, lived-in color that makes her clients feel their best.
Sarah is passionate about making lasting relationships with her guests and creating a relaxed, welcoming experience in her chair. She’s so excited to meet some new faces!

✨ It’s official! Emily Brown | Denver Color Specialist has completed her apprenticeship and is available to book all services!
Emily has been doing hair independently for a few years and decided she wanted to join a more community-focused salon and grow her skill set - which is where we came in. She’s been shadowing Chandler McKenzie for the last 6 months, learning the ins and outs of advanced techniques and formulating, as well as completing all the advanced classes we offer.
She loves bold, vivid color transformations, but is equally passionate about creating beautiful blondes and low-maintenance color that matches her clients needs.
